What did we do?
What was asked for and what we built
Selçuk Abay is a rock musician who has been releasing songs since 2014; he writes the lyrics, makes the arrangements and records most of his songs himself, and he has written anthems for Fenerbahçe and for the 100th anniversary of the Republic. We built a site that plays his music video on the opening screen and plays 30 seconds of his ten most-played songs on the site; the player keeps going while visitors move around the page. Music videos, the credits of six anthems, a discography of 31 releases and his story are on the same page; there is a separate press kit page for journalists.
- 30-second song previews that play on the site and keep playing as you move around the page
- 31 releases from 2014 to today, year by year; six anthems with lyric and music credits
- A press kit page with a copyable biography and downloadable photos
What's different?
Side by side with a typical site in the industry
A highlight of the site
A song preview that keeps playing while you browse
30 seconds of the ten most-played songs play on the site; the player keeps going even if the visitor moves to another section. A Spotify link for the full song is right next to it.
- Tap a song in the songs section.
- A 30-second preview starts playing on the site.
- Keep browsing the page; the song doesn't stop.
