What is a sponsored article, and which publication should you choose?
WyvUP Ekibi · · 1 min read

A sponsored article is paid content that presents your brand, product or news on a publication's own pages. In the right publication it reaches readers and earns your website a trusted link. In the wrong one, the budget is spent on an audience that will never get to know you.
1. Choose the audience first, then the publication
Who is your customer and where do they read? For a launch or a corporate announcement, national news sites; for investment, partnerships or a new business, business and economy publications; if you sell to a specific industry, that industry's widely followed industry publications are the better choice. If your customers are nearby, local news sites are often the most efficient place to start.
2. Links and how long the article stays live
Not every publication offers the same terms. Some keep the article live indefinitely, others for a set period; some link to your website, others don't. When comparing quotes, look at these two terms, not just the price.
3. A single article or regular coverage?
A single article is enough for a single announcement. If the brand should appear regularly in one publication, packages covering several articles in the same publication make more sense.
4. Paid content is labeled
Paid content is labeled as advertising or promotion in line with regulations. All content is subject to the publisher's approval; publication and link terms are confirmed in the quote.
5. Have the text and image ready
The article's text and image are yours. A short, clear text written in a news style also speeds up the publisher's approval.
In our Press & Media Catalog we have gathered national, business, industry and local publications together with their prices. We can choose where to start together.
