Compare three forest bungalows on scaled floor plans and see the total price by picking dates on a calendar.
What we did
Bungalow listings look alike and rarely show what each house offers or costs for specific dates. We tested a site that describes three different houses by their measurements and turns the calendar directly into a price.

The big idea
Three houses, three plans
A glass-fronted A-frame, a geodesic dome and a cedar-clad tiny house are drawn to real scale, so the meters show which one suits you. Hot tub, heating and facing are listed for each.
A day in the valley
A timeline walks through one day, from morning fog in the streambed to lighting the fire at sunset.
Day and night slider
The same frame, twelve hours apart, compared with a slider.
Calculated sun times
Instead of fake live data, today's sunrise and sunset are calculated for the valley's location.
How we did it

A day instead of a program
Five moments, from breakfast at 08:30 to the night sky at 21:30. The sunset time in the list is calculated for the valley every day.
- 02
From day to night
One slider turns the same frame from day to night, with a tab for each of the three houses.
- 03
Plans drawn to scale
Each house has a floor plan with a 2 m scale bar, an eight-line spec list and its weekday nightly price.
- 04
The total, line by line
After check-in and check-out are picked, the summary lists weekday and weekend nights, the long-stay discount and the cleaning fee.
