Aura

Turn a haircut 360 degrees by scrolling, compare before and after in the same light, and book in three steps.

What we did

Salon sites tend to show polished portraits that say little about how a cut is decided. We tested a site that explains the method: measure face geometry first, and keep each guest's color formula on record.

  • Salon site
  • 360° cut view
  • Before and after slider
  • Three-step booking

ConceptA fictional brand we designed end to end to test an idea. Not a client project; every feature on it works and you can open it live.

Transformation, in the same light

Drag the line: before and after share the same angle, light and lens. With the concept's sample images.

BeforeAfter
The big idea

A cut explained from four angles

As you scroll, the model turns on its axis; at the front, profile and back views a label explains the decision behind that angle. You can also drag to rotate.

01

Four differences

Face analysis, a digital formula archive, hair and skin planned in one session, and one guest per time slot.

02

Same-light comparison

A slider shows hair and skin before and after, shot with the same angle, light and lens.

03

Team by specialty

Each designer's specialty is listed, so you know who you will work with before booking.

04

Three-step booking

Choose the service, the specialist and the time; the studio calls to confirm.

How we did it

Step by step.

  1. 01

    Four differences, each with proof

Each difference ends with a concrete line, such as 20 minutes of measuring at the first visit or 90 to 150 minutes per booking.

  2. 02

    A label at four angles

Thirty-six frames turn the model as you scroll. At 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees a label explains the cutting decision for that side.

  3. 03

    Hair and skin, same light

The comparison has two tabs, hair and skin. Under it the page says no retouching is applied and results are not guaranteed.

  4. 04

    The atelier in three rules

Measuring, recording and knowing the limit: the atelier text says no medical procedures are done and guests are sent to a doctor when needed.

  5. 05

    Who does what

Four designers are introduced with a photo and one specialty each, from dry cutting to non-medical skin care.

Why we did it this way

Guests want to know who will cut their hair, and how, before they book.
